This patient presented with two concerns: gynecomastia since adolescence (ages 14–16) and significant weight loss.
He reduced his weight from 130 kg to 93 kg (BMI 43 to 31) at a height of 173 cm.
The combination of excess breast gland tissue and a substantial amount of loose skin is causing both functional and aesthetic challenges.
According to Dr Beldholm’s gynaecomastia grading system this is a Grade BB 4c and the recommended treatment is Torsoplasty (upper thoracic lift) with Free NAC (Nipple areolar) grafts.
Operation performed:
- Upper torsoplasty (also referred to as upper thoracic lift, upper boy lift, excision of gynaecomastia)
- Loose skin and gynaecomastia excised
- Nipple areolar complex (NAC) grafted onto a new position
- 580 grams of skin, fat and breast gland tissue removed on the Right side
- 664 grams of skin, fat and breast gland tissue removed on the Left side
