Indication for Surgery
Consultation History: Post-weight loss surgery
Weight Loss: Lost 30 kg of weight with a low carb diet and has been able to maintain the weight loss for more than 2 years.
Medical History: Getting significant amount of rubbing and rashes in the skin folds that is causing her significant pain and discomfort. Especially in the summer in hot weather.
- Current Weight Loss: 30 kg
- Areas of Concern: Loose abdominl skin
- Height: 164 cm
- Weight: 90 kg
- Current BMI: 33.5
- Age: 53 years old
Operation
Initially had Fleur de lis abdominoplasty with VASER liposuction (Suction-assisted lipectomy) also referred to as Dual-Vector Abdominoplasty
Amount of fat (adipose tissue) removed: 1400 ml
Skin removal:
- Middle abdomen: 2221 grams
- Right Side: 766 g
- Left Side: 844 g
Had remaining loose skin in the upper abdomen and had a upper abdominal lipectomy done 25 months after her initial Fleur de lis abdominoplasty.
Upper abdominal lipectomy:
- 445 grams and skin removed in the upper abdomen
